Vitalik wants to make Ethereum “simple like Bitcoin” in 5 years
Vitalik Buterin, co -founder of Ethereum, called for simplifying the basic ETHEREUM protocol, with the aim of making the network more efficient and safely and can be accessed to inspiration than the simple Bitcoin design.

Ethereum eyes “final 3” to simplify consensus

On the implementation layer, Borin suggested the shift from the ETHEREUM (EVM) to a simpler and friendly ZK device like RISC-V. This step can provide 100x performance improvements for zero evidence and greatly simplify the protocol.
RISC-V is the structure of an open source instructions (ISA) user In computer processors design. It follows a simple design philosophy, using a small set of simple instructions for high efficiency and easier implementation.
To maintain the backward compatibility, Borin suggested running the Legacy EVM on Onchain via RISC-V translator with both VMS support at a time during a transition.

Borin calls for standards in the protocol scale
Burin also called for monotheism across the protocol. I suggest adopting a single erasing method, sequence coordination (in favor of SSZ), and the tree structure to reduce excess complexity and simplify ETHEREUM tools and infrastructure.
“Simplicity is similar to decentralization in many ways,” Burin wrote. He suggested that Ethereum adopts the goal of “Max Line -f-Code” as TinyGRAD does, while maintaining the logic of unanimous consensus as much as possible.
The old features will remain critical, but are outside the basic specifications.
Burin’s proposal, which aims to simplify ETHEREUM, comes as the network continues to lose its market share against the competing Blockchains.
