Trump says he has no desire to fix his relationship with Elon Musk
It seems that Elon Musk will not be the “first friend” of President Donald Trump again anytime.
Trump told NBC News on Saturday that he had no plans to fix his relationship with Musk after it exploded this week. When asked if their relationship had been done, Trump said, simply, “I will assume it, yes.”
Trump said he did not intend to speak with Musk and said the technical billionaire “does not respect the president’s office.”
“I think it’s a very bad thing, because it is not very respectful. You can’t do not respect the president’s office,” Trump said.
The epic and the public began very after MUSK criticized Trump’s tax bill, which the president calls “a beautiful beautiful bill.”
During the dramatic exchange on Thursday, which often occurred on the social media networks that every billionaire owned, Trump threatened to end the contracts and support of the Musk government. Musk returned until Trump was in the so -called “Epstein files” in a launch now.
In an NBC interview on Saturday, Trump warned MUSK against financing the democratic candidates nominated against members of the Republican Party voting for the bill, saying that there will be “severe consequences.”
“If he does so, he will have to pay the consequences of that,” Trump said. “He will have to pay very serious consequences if he does.”
Last month, Musk said he would spend “much less” on future political campaigns. He spent hundreds of millions to support Trump in 2024.
“If you see a reason to carry out political spending in the future, I will do so,” Musk said at the Economic Forum in Qatar last month. “I don’t currently see a reason.”
Trump’s comments came on Saturday after Musk deleted some x jobs from his account. He deleted the post, which refers to Epstein files and a video that he republished, which seemed to show Trump parties with Epstein in the 1990s. Musk also deleted a X post, in which he described Trump’s comment as a “clear lie” and the last post says that Spacex would stop the dragon vehicle “immediately.”
White House press secretary Caroline Leviter told Business Insider that passing the tax law is the priority of the president.
“President Trump and the entire administration will continue the important task of reducing waste, fraud and abuse from our federal government on behalf of the taxpayers, and the passage of the great Great Bill Law is very important to help accomplish this task,” Levitte said in a statement.
Musk representatives did not respond to the BI.
The repercussions of the Musk and Trump conflict were quickly, affecting the price Tesla stock And Dogecoin. A senior White House official told Trump that Trump is now considering selling Tesla.
On Saturday, Vice President JD Vance said it is a “big mistake” that “Musk goes after the president” during the latest episode “at the end of this week with Theo von.”
“I do not say that he must agree with the draft law or agree with everything I say,” Vans said. “I think it’s a big mistake for the richest man in the world, I think one of the most diverted entrepreneurs – this is Elon – to be in this war the most powerful man in the world.”
During the interview, Vans said he believed that everything would be fine between the spouses if the musk “calms down a little.”
“We hope that Elon will return it and return to the barn,” Vans said, adding that Trump was “slightly frustrated” with Mossk’s recent criticism.
“But I think he was very restricted because the president does not think he should be in a bloody hostility with Elon Musk, and I actually think that if Elon is a little cool, everything would be fine,” Vans said.
Music responded to Vans’s comment on X on Saturday, and writing, simply, “wonderful”.
