There were already two Testnets ethereum used to examine the Petra, Sepolia and HOLESKY, and faced issues alike, with proof that Holesky is the most disturbing.

While delaying another is not possible, the original Ethereum protocols are obligated to work with the assumption that Pectra is imminent-which means educating its users on what can be expected.
This also means preparing to update smart contracts and other code operations to accommodate the modifications of Pectra, especially in raising the maximum script from 32 to 2048 ETH.
Ethereum changes big and small
From the user’s point of view, much that Pectra adds is not perceived, at least in the beginning.
The most tangible improvement will be the ability to push gas fees using symbols like USDC.
But for developers and kings, the changes will be easily clear.
