Do you have an account? .
- I spent years on individual trips and discovered the best basics of packing along the way.
- I never travel without a portable umbrella, earplay and sleep mask.
- My micro -fiber towel, birth control pill, and basic packing cubes have become for me.
In 2016, I mobilized my bags on my first single trip – and after nine years, I traveled alone to six countries without any idea about their learning along the way.
Since then, I settled in my travel style and became confident of the tools and necessities that have obtained a permanent spot in my packing menu.
These elements often make my flights easier, recommend whether you are traveling for the first time or experienced journey.
Here are some of the basics of travel that I hope to buy sooner.
Traveling with a backpack makes life much easier.

Avoid checking luggage, instead, bring my bag.
Soon after my first single trip, I went to my local external store and got a backpack. I bought a 40 -liter package with shoulder belts, lined waist and heroic clouds, making it easy to pack like a bag.
The best part is that this backpack this size meets most of the size of the airlines, so that I can keep my property with me at all times.
In addition, carrying my things on my back is easier than moving a bag through the non -level streets and sharp stairs.
My editing and sacred narration is the ear plugs and eye mask that helps me sleep anywhere and at any time.

I do not travel without earplay and sleep mask. Recently, I upgrade even to earplugs that reduce silicone noise.
The sleep mask helps prevent the lights of the youth house late at night, early morning sun and bright planes. I like that my mask has spaces for reducing the pressure of the cap.
In 2023, like a two -hour journey child, the entire journey of Eurostar from Paris to London with this duo.
Do not occupy the accurate fiber towel of approximately $ 10, and it dries in 15 minutes.
Alison Van Saeed
Five years ago, I turned from a regular towel to one of the fine fibers to reduce the largest part of my bag.
Microbial fiber makes it dried, so I can use it to shower in the morning, and it is dry by the time I need to be bundled in the afternoon.
The person I have from Arnuwa also rolls the size of a bottle of water, making it a great choice for travelers.
In addition, the towel proved its value in other ways. During a two -week trip in 2024, I used it to provide an additional filling on the hips between my bag and lower back.
Fill cubes are the best way to increase space and stay organized during travel.
Alison Van Saeed
My filling cubes have turned my packing game by keeping me organized. In addition, some cubes can help increase the filling space by air pressure and reduce the bulk.
I use mines to separate daily, delicious, and technical elements. Until I keep an empty cube to separate the washing of dirty clothes from clean clothes.
With these, there is no need to dig through my midnight bag to find my toothbrush – everything has its place.
I love my birth control pill so much that I use it in my daily life.
Alison Van Saeed
My birth control pill is one of the most $ 5 travel elements.
I can’t recommend this condition enough to maintain the organized and easy -to -access medications and vitamins.
I store mines with allergic medications, Pepto Bismol, IBUPROFEN, various nutritional supplements, and other common drugs that I may need.
To keep it extra sorting, you cut the dose information and stickers from the original bottles and its tape to the corresponding cabin.
I love physical books, but the electronic reader makes reading on the road easier.
Alison Van Saeed
I love reading while traveling, but physical books add weight to my bag and occupy space. Three years ago, I bought Kindle, and I didn’t look back.
The electronic reader fits most small bags and does not occupy a lot of space. Before a trip I download many e -books from my local library so that I have a lot of options later.
The best part is that the battery life can last for weeks at a time, making it lower at night.
A built -in umbrella can save my daily and uniform.
Alison Van Saeed
I never sorry to fill my umbrella, even if it didn’t end up using it. I cannot tell you how many times I did not pack up and end up pushing the flimsy umbrella in the streets that inevitably failed.
Now, I always have a compact umbrella because I never know when I will need it.
The umbrella is folded into 6 inches, so I removed it in the side pocket of my bag or put it in a small day bag.
