A father jumped from the outside to save his daughter, who fell from a Disney tourist ship that dates back to Florida
The crew members of the Disney tourist saved a girl who fell into the sea and her father, who jumped after her.
Disney Dream Rescue pulled the girl and her father to a small boat on Sunday while the cruise ship was returning to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from the Bahamas on the last day of the trip, according to Disney and passengers who recorded the rescue on the video.
The passenger Kevin Furota said in a post on social media, that the passengers had been alerted that someone fell abroad due to an advertisement about the loudspeakers of the ship.
“Fortunately, the Disney Cruise Lines team was immediately on both of them!” Foreuta said in a Facebook post, Disney Dream Ship Group.
No information was issued on how the girl fell into the sea.
“We commend our crew members for their exceptional skills and quick actions, which guaranteed the safe return of both guests to the ship within minutes,” Disney said in a statement. “We are committed to the safety and welfare of our guests, and this incident highlights the effectiveness of our safety protocols.”
