How do a group of students rebuild the way you discover what to see, listen and read – without algorithms
We are not supposed to build this.
We are just Brazil students. There are no Silicon Valley guides. No great financing. No noise machine.
But we are here – and people began to notice that.
Because while anyone else races to build more intelligent algorithms, we do something completely different:
We rebuild confidence in recommendations – by returning humans to the center of culture.

Al -Shaarah: frustration with the algorithm summary
We are tired of telling me what to see with a black box.
Netflix, Spotify, YouTube – they all started to feel that they show us the same content, over and over again. Not because he was the best, but because he was the safest.
Worse: I felt without a soul.
Where was the reason behind the recommendation? Where was the passion? Random? Humanity?
We no longer trust the algorithm. Therefore, we have built something that we could trust: each other.
The first version: ugly, raw – alive
We launched a rough page. Film list. No machine learning. No “If you like x, you will desirable y.”
Just real people who recommend the things they loved, for a simple reason: “This made me feel something. You might like it too.”
Something clicks. difficult.
Friends began to share music. books. Podcast. tools. People from different cities – and in the end different countries – began to use it.
We realized that we were not a start -up construction. We were igniting a movement.
What makes the recommendation different?
We are not trying to predict what you like. We are trying to connect you to a person already.

We did not ask for permission. We did not wait for funding. We did not spend months on the floors.
We only built what we need – and people followed us.
