The cruises are prosperous, and Royal Caribbean is the largest winner
- The largest trips lines were the 2024 banner, amid the prosperous demand and prices.
- Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Carnival – Integrity and Passengers compared to 2023
- Royal Caribbean has seen the largest growth ever, welcoming about 8.6 million guests on board.
Each cruise line has benefited from the prosperity of vacation demand at sea, but one company stands – or floating – over the rest of its competitors: Royal Caribbean Group.
Royal Caribbean is not the largest most famous trips operators. IT and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings oversees three trademarks, compared to Carnival Corp’s Eight. As such, in 2025, the carnival is expected to represent 36 % of the revenues of the cruise industry, followed by Royal Caribbean by 24.8 % and Norwegian by 14.1 %, according to The cruise market watch watch.
However, when it comes to growth from 2023 to 2024 in both revenues and travelers, Royal Caribian absorbed the clear winner.
The giant of the marine flight giant witnessed record revenues in 2024: $ 25 billion for carnival (an increase of 15.9 % from 2023) and 9.5 billion dollars for Norwegians (an increase of 10.9 %). Likewise, both of them absorbed about 8 % of passengers more than the previous year: 13.5 million for carnival and 2.9 million Norwegian.
These growth mutations on an annual annual basis. But it is pale compared to the Royal Caribbean numbers for 2024: increased revenues of 18.6 % to $ 16.5 billion and an increase of 12 % in passengers to 8.6 million.
It is a sign that the company is increasingly picking up the sailing market to abundant-expected to continue until 2025.
The General Royal Caribbean started with strong reservations and prices, with plans for the first time two new ships and a special resort to tempt potential travelers.
As for the request, “there is no room for weakness,” Jason Liberty, CEO of Royal Caribian, told analysts in late January, a week before he suffers from the strongest reservation week “the wave season.”
Liberty said that a private island has a private island and two of the latest and largest cruise ships, Utopia in the seas and the icon of the seas, attracted both the first time and workers. Likewise, its flights in the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand have received a lot of demand.
Like Royal Caribbean, Carlival and Norwegian has seen a boom in reservations and prices for 2025 – although there are dry days more than 2024, which can negatively affect the number of passengers they absorb. However, all three companies expect more products this year, including new ships (including one of the largest companies in the world from Royal Caribbean) and resorts.
This means, expecting that the entire cruise industry will sail in another year.
