The court rejects Elon Musk prohibits Openai Shift For-PROFIT
A California Federal Court rejected Eleon Musk’s attempt to prevent Openai from moving to a profitable organization, according to the court report on Tuesday.

The judge stated that the prosecutors had failed to provide sufficient evidence of the sharp relief they requested. However, the broader Musk suit against the company, which he participated in SAM Altman will continue.
Openai, which was originally established as an Amnesty International Non -profit research laboratory in 2015, was established towards marketing, especially with the famous Chatbot. Although it was supervised by a non -profit parent, the company faced challenges in its attempt to restructure to a profitable model, due to the opposition of Musk, which has become one of the critics of Taman.
In November 2024, the Musk Legal team submitted a judicial order to prevent Openai’s efforts to profit. This legal move escalated in the continuous dispute between Musk and Openai, which started in March 2024 when Musk filed a lawsuit against the company, on the pretext of violating the contract and credit duty. The case was later transferred to the Federal Court, where Musk expanded its allegations to include anti -monopoly violations, accusing Microsoft and Openai of banning investments in competitors, including Musk’s Xai.
Musk has publicly criticized Openai’s transformation, describing it as a “complete fraud” and described the company as “evil”. In response to, Openai argued that Musk had previously prompted a profit structure in 2017 and that the current transformation would include the establishment of a public benefits to control commercial operations while maintaining some non -profit supervision.
Last month, the Musk Investment Group offered 97.4 billion dollars to control non -UPNAI parents, claiming that the time has come to the company to return to its open -minded open roots. Altman rejected the offer, and refused as a strategy to slow down a competitor. Musk later indicated in the court file that he will withdraw its challenge if Openai stops his profit transfer.
