Squarex launches a year of browser insects (YOBB) to expose the security security security points
Palo Alto, USA, March 18, 2025/Cybernewswire/-Squarex, a pioneer in the field of browser discovery and response (BDR), announced the launch of the “Browser Bugs” project (YOBB) today, which is a year for a year to attract attention to security research and praise in the remainder of the most understood transformers.
The browser developed from a simple web display engine to be the new “end point” – the main gate through which users interact with the Internet, to work, entertainment, and transactions. However, traditional safety solutions are still focusing on end points and networks despite the massive growth of the local attacks of the browser.
The Yobb project was inspired by the month of Bugs (MB), which is the iconic cybersecurity initiative where security researchers deploy a major security vulnerability located in the main software providers every day of the month.
Mob projects played a major role in improving the gravity in which security and responsible disclosure in these companies are taken. The prominent projects included the month of Browser Bugs (July 2006), the month of Kernel Bugs (November 2006) and Apple Bugs (January 2007).
Squarex restores this tradition with Yobb to raise awareness of the electronic threats that the browser is vulnerable to. However, unlike the original HD Moore’s original month of browser errors that focused on software errors in the browser itself, Squarex will disclose the application layer attacks that can be delivered through any website, application, or storage of cloud data that can be accessed through the browser.
During the year 2025, the Squarex research team will reveal at least a web attack at least a month as part of the Yobb project, focusing on the weaknesses that use the architectural restrictions of the browser and current solutions.
The search for unparalleled attack tankers will be revealed that are still unknown even to the cybersecurity. All disclosure will include videos of the attack, artistic failure, and mitigation strategies. These disclosure will be searched entirely and discovered, instead of collecting current security research.
Under the Yobb Initiative, Squarex has already made a major version from 2024 to the first two months of 2025:

Vivic Ramashandran The founder and CEO of Squarex, “When browsers become the new end point, the attackers are increasingly targeting employees to storm organizations and medium data, just like the Cyberhaven incident. Unfortunately, along with this prevailing surface, we are not organized by this attack. It cannot be solved simply through browser corrections.
With the progress of the year, the security teams can expect to document the monthly disclosure in
About Squarex
Squarex follows an approach to research and focus on the attack for the security of the browser. Squarex’s research team was the first to discover and detect multiple central attacks, including reassurance attacks at the last mile, extension of shapes, S, and the browser synchronization.
As part of the Browser Bugs (Yobb) project, Squarex is committed to continuing to unveil the main architectural security vulnerability at least every month.
