Spirit Airlines rejected a new offer to acquire Carrier Carrier Frontier.
In the statement, Frontier said it had made a “convincing proposal” to buy the soul, which submitted a request to protect bankruptcy 11 in November.
“This suggestion reflects a convincing opportunity that will lead to a greater value than the independent Sperette plan by establishing a stronger low -fare airline,” Bill Frankiery, President of Frontier, said in a press statement.
Sperett said at the Frontire show. The company said it aims to get out of bankruptcy procedures in the first quarter of 2025.
Frontier said that the merger will help to create a “long -term susceptibility” for both airlines “to compete more effectively and enter new markets on a large scale.”
She said that the deal could be funded by issuing debts and new border shares.
Fronter and a spirit of talks had already been held in 2022, but that deal collapsed when Jetblue made a higher spirit. Then the soul deal was canceled-appropriate last year after it was banned by a federal judge.
