Sergei Brain explains the Google Return and the focus of artificial intelligence at the I/O conference

Google Coftence Sergey Brin appeared on the stage at the I/O Main Conference of the company, where he showed the reason for his return to the technology giant and the Google Glass failure he learned a decade ago.

It is the latest sign that Google is going in artificial intelligence. BRIN has returned to Google to help develop AI products since 2023, where the search giant against ChatGPT from Openai, and shared it about what it had been since his return to the trenches.

In chatting with Hassabis, BRIN said it comes to Google “to a large extent every day now” to train the latest models of Gemini. The famous technical co -founder said it is something that normally interests.

“I tend to be deep in technical details,” said Brain. “This is a luxury that I really enjoy, fortunately, because men like Demes think about the store. This is where my scientific interest is.”

Since his return to Google, BRIN also came to I/O for the past year, as he presented questions to reporters about artificial intelligence.

Learning from Google Glass

At the 2012 Google I/O conference, BRIN collected a video in which Google Glass was wearing a parachute jumping to showcase the giant technology giant in wearable devices. This year, it also addressed Google Glass, which he stopped selling a decade ago.

In Fireside on Tuesday, BRIN said that Google Glass’s failure stems from his lack of knowledge about manufacturing and supply chains.

“I did not know anything about the electronic supply chains of consumers, and the difficulty of building it and obtaining it at a reasonable price,” he said.

BRIN is much more difficult for the latest wearable devices projects from Google: “XR”, or expanded reality, glasses. In Fireside conversation, he said he believed artificial intelligence is now more able to such a product.
