According to a speech alert issued by Malwarebytes, several strains of harmful programs to steal information (Amos and Lumma) were specifically helping to Reddit posts goal Narrow encoding users on both Mac and Windows.
The attackers are trying to download cracked versions of TradingView, a common trading platform.
The post claims that the announced programs provide access to unprecedented distinct features.
However, the download links actually lead to a non -relevant website instead of the official TradingView site.
Mac users who fall into this fraud receive the Amos Magistics programs, which are able to steal accreditation data. Meanwhile, Windows users get Lumma Malware programs that run a harmful text program.
Harmful programs can deplete cryptocurrency portfolios, which is the reason for targeting encrypted currency users.
