Ripple XRP mentioned in IIF’s BIS response to the cross -border payments

After the historical victory of the Ripple in the Ripple VS Sec into Case, the Ripple payment system gets Blockchain and its original XRP symbols on a new global recognition. XRP is recently highlighted as a fastest and cheaper substitute for transmission across the border, especially in areas that are subject to traditional banks. XRP works as a bridge origin, allowing settlements close to fixed without relying on multiple banking brokers.

IIF mentions a ripples in a repeated response

According to the popular encryption analyst Wrathofkahneman (WOK), this recognition came through IIF notes to a consultation in January 2025 that the bank held for international settlements (BIS), under the G20 road map to improve global payments. In this document, Ripple and XRP were recognized to provide a new type of value -transfer infrastructure, and to stay away from delay and high costs of the traditional banking model.

Stablecoins gets a gesture – but not RLUSD yet

IIF paper also touched on the role of Stablecoins such as USDC from Circle, Pyusd’s Pyusd and Coinbase Blockchain, all of which indicate the enabled fast and difficult international payments. However, the Ripple’s Stablecoin Rlus did not make the list, most likely because it was just launched in December 2024, shortly before the document was presented. Since then, RLUSD has been combined into Ripple payments, adding more utility to the Ripple tools collection.

The broader recognition of Ripple continues to grow

This is not the first time that praise has been done. Last year, MasterCard highlighted SBI Remit, a Ripple partner, to use XRP in transfers. XRP was also highlighted in a World Bank report and mentioned by the International Monetary and Economic Fund as a useful tool to open the capital associated with old financial systems. Even Morgan Stanley has called Ripple a possible fast alternative.

Although RLUSD has missed the lights this time, Ripple and XRP are gaining momentum in international financing. With the increase in institutional recognition and Blockchain adoption, Ripple’s boundary payment technology is no longer flying under the radar.
