Pump.fun turns into DMS and group correspondence features after the direct broadcast experience fails
POMP.fun has announced the launch of direct messaging features (DM) and collective correspondence features on their mobile applications, which will be available for iOS and Android devices on Thursday 13 March 2023.
This new development is launched from the back of the sudden closure of the controversial Pump.fun, which was initially launched in mid -2014. The Memecoin Launchpad platform is a major traffic and liquidity driver to Solana Blockchain.

Ascension and fall of the pump.
Pump.fun launched the Livestream feature to help creators to raise awareness of the court and participate about Memecoins. Creators can launch the distinctive icons of Meme and then use direct events to get more users to buy symbols and raise prices in actual time. This concept is not completely new as e -commerce platforms in countries such as China employ similar sales strategies to better offer their products.
However, the reality was different from the vision thanks to the lack of moderation in the content, and it is not exactly an essential element in the encryption industry. Livestream feature has become a yard of harmful content, as users who broadcast racist, porn materials and other abusive materials, such as abuse of animals and threats to commit to their commitment and their family members, are all in an attempt to get more users to buy memecoins.

As expected, the new correspondence feature was received with mixed feelings by the POMP.fun community. Some users are skeptical, while others are more accepted.
