Joe JeepThe former founder and chief official of the former Airbnb products said on Thursday that it would be part of the government efficiency committee in Elon Musk, Dog.
“I am excited to participate, I brought my mind and my soul to the government,” Jiba wrote in the X publication on Thursday.
GEBBIA wrote in office that his first project in Doge will be to improve the “slow and paper -based retirement” for federal employees. Musk has already complained about how to handle pension applications manually and use paper records.
Musk told the correspondents at a press conference at the Oval Office on February 11 that he was told that a maximum of 10,000 federal employees could retire every month because of the manual process.
“Well, because all pension works are manual, on paper. It is calculated manually and then written on a piece of paper, then a mine decreases.”
Musk added: “Yes, there is a limestone mine where we store all retirement papers.”
Musk was referring to a transformer mine in Poirez, Pennsylvania. The mine was originally owned by the United States Steel, and has been used to store government records since the 1960s.
“It would take” many years “to replace the paper system with an online platform they were testing.
“Since I left the Airbnb’s operating league in 2022, I was looking for the next digital design challenge. I can think about a few importance of volunteer work to improve the user experience within our government,” Jiba wrote in his book X Post on Thursday.
The Gebbia post was attached with a video of OPM, which said the agency had fully dealt with the full retirement application for the first time. Chuck Ezel, OPM director, said in the video that the request was addressed within a week. The operation will take 64 days on average if performed manually.
“If anyone else is in a good position, he wants to help design beautiful and easy -to -use digital products, then contact Jibbia,” Gibbia added.
“Thanks!” Musk wrote in response to the Jeeba job.
Doj representatives did not respond to the request from Business Insider.
This is the first time that Jiba has confirmed his participation with Dog. On February 13, the New York Times reported that Jiba was scheduled to join Dogi, although Jiba refused to comment when approaching the Times.
It is not clear whether a pocket will be paid for his work in Doug. Earlier this month, the White House said that Musk is a “private government employee” and is not paid for his service.
GEBBIA has a good relationship with Musk and was a member of the Tesla Board of Directors since 2022. In June, Gebbia told Reuters in an interview that Musk discussed the purchase of a house from its start, Samara.
On January 19, a day before President Donald Trump’s opening, a budget in the position of X said that he voted for Trump although he was voting for the Democrats “his entire life.” Jeepa wrote that the Democratic Party “is not the same party that they used to be.”
He added: “Like your fashion, they lost their way. I hope they would make an effort to earn people like me.”
