My skin before and after alcohol free for two years
- Megan Zuckerman, 30, became sober in February 2023 after she tried wet in January.
- While she was sober for health reasons, she noticed a positive change in her skin as well.
- Her face is less swollen and the drinking also does not help her stick to a night protein.
When I wanted to reduce drinking in 2023, I didn’t think I could go completely. I chose a wet experience in January instead of dehydration of January, and I want to give the option to supervise if you want.
I had only two drinks of that month, a change of social drinking routine at the end of each week in addition to a week or two. Even without being official, I felt a big difference in my health in that month: I have grown better and have more energy.
Almost after my fame, I had three cups of champagne in one day and I couldn’t sleep. While I was lying on the bed, I remembered how much I felt when I did not drink. I decided to go completely this time.
Although I was excited to cut alcohol for health reasons, I noticed a positive feature after a few months of sobriety: my skin looked better. The problems I have always had, such as sleeping with my makeup or I feel that my face seemed swollen, went away.
Fake skin is not the main cause of my stay for two years; It is just one of the many aspects.
I was always self -awareness in my face
For years, I was very aware of my face. Khadeh’s swollen hair, and I didn’t like how a tour of Jawline looked.
After about six months of sobriety, my face shape changed. I never realized how alcohol is linked to bloating, as it causes dehydration and expands the blood vessels.
Since going without wine – and drink more water in place – my face looks better than ever. Siddiq and I have seen our pictures on old Facebook seven years ago. We cannot believe how many years old, at the age of thirty, more than 23 years old.
I hold a protein now
While I had a skin care routine, my problem was fixed. On Monday, I will try to start the week at the best foot, and make sure to clean my face and apply the serum.
Deeper in the week, when I go home after drinking, I was giving up cleaning my face properly. Sometimes, I was sleeping without removing any makeup – usually on the nights in which I really came out and wore heavier makeup. After that, the two were wandering, and I would try (and fail) to keep up with my routine. As a result, my skin felt dull and more dry, especially in the winter.
Now that I haven’t drank, it has become much easier to stick to a multi -step protein in the morning and at night. Even if you are very stressful to order all the steps (such as the ink application), I am at least to cleanse my face.
Because I sleep better too, it has made the morning routine more enjoyable. Instead of rushing to clean my teeth, I wake up earlier than I used to and do the full skin care protein before walking my dog. I am now looking forward, and Holmeer starts today.
Healthy habits improve my skin
My beauty system is not the only positive habit that I was able to adhere to. Again when I drank, I often skipped running because I was tired or tired.
Now that I am more comfortable, I am often running and ending three marathon last year. The exercise is useful, and I definitely feel more since I started working more.
My relationship with food has also changed. When I was drinking or volunteer, I was getting Munchies and yearning for salty super snacks. Eating a more balanced diet also improved my skin tissue.
I am not the only one who noticed changes in my appearance. A friend recently praised my skin and told her how to help the sobriety. I sent me the last day to tell me that she was sober about two months ago.
A few other friends are also gunmen now and tell me that my openness about sobriety is what inspired them. This makes me always very happy.
