MAX does not break the password sharing yet for HBO MOOSERS
Warner Bros. Discovery puts a password stop – in the end.
HBO’s parent company now tells users that they need their MAX accounts to catch “The White Lotus”. WBD wants users to create their own accounts, or get their account holder to pay an additional $ 8 per month to give them access.
Netflix witnessed that “paid participation” is of great success, and Disney did the same.
But those who are keen at the expense of their friend do not have to reach their credit cards yet. Although WBD is gently encouraged independent transactions to pay, executives said they would not play a harsh ball for a while.
“They are very soft messages that will start getting more stable and more clear to subscribers over the coming months,” said WBD Global Streaming JB Perrette.
Bertt said this paid initiative has a schedule of 12 to 18 months. It begins in the United States and will move next year to the rest of the world, where Max is still starting.
Beret said that anti -heating messages will get a “more assertive” later this year and early 2026.
Paid post can enhance Max subscribers
WBD is not alone in following Netflix’s progress, as NBC warns the peacock subscribers to share passwords with their friends. You didn’t do that after that, but it is definitely Paramount, Amazon and Apple can bear fruit.
MAX made progress since its launch five years ago, and gave the brand of HBO Max in 2023. WBD has 57.6 million subscribers in the United States, an increase of about 5 million by a year. The company has also grown its global customer base by more than 22 million customers, although this is largely due to the passing in Southeast Asia and Europe.
The broadcasting ads revenue increased by 35 % from last year in the first quarter.
The paid post display can increase the number of subscribers in the WBD flow, although the post-the advertisement-can cause great success if independents conclude that Max is not worth paying.
