The startup that uses artificial intelligence translation technology to make new YouTube channels for creators who target different places has fallen over $ 8.5 million in seeds financing.
Linguana is led by the founder and CEO Yuval Tal, an Israeli serial businessman who founded Payoneer and the e -commerce company in the past. Linguana will use money to invest in technology and many creators on board.
Linguana already works with hundreds of YouTube users who generate 10,000 video translations – and hundreds of thousands of dollars of new revenues – every month. She is looking for well -known creators with more than a million views per month focusing on evergreen topics.
It is one of the many startups looking to harness artificial intelligence to help media companies on a large scale. Dubbing in particular is a hot theme in the Creator’s economy, with the likes of Mrbeast that defends tools.
But Tal claimed that creating independent channels leads to better scenes. He said that it allows translated mini photography and video descriptions, as well as sections of comments that are not feeding on different languages.
AI technology from Linguana picks up the tone of creators’ voices, and the company works with human auditors to check its work.
Cmo Jonny Steel Bi told the goal of Linguana is the “final originality” in making creators seem to speak in different languages themselves. He said that the company had received notes from creators that it has “higher quality of accuracy” of Google’s disposal tools.
Linguana is not a charge in the foreground. Instead, it shares revenues with creators on the background in the 50/50 division. Tal described it as “additional revenues without doing anything.”
After signing an agreement, Linguana managed to reach the creator channel. He chooses the videos that Dub must, remove any integration of the brands, then spread optimal time, along with translated mini images and video descriptions.
It is also suitable for creative catalogs to choose videos is likely to resonate in other regions.
“You need to do the crystal ball for what the videos you put in to.” Tal said.
A partner of a creator is a gardener Charles DavingHe said that his six coral channels are now witnessing 250,000 views per month. Tal said that some international creators in Russia and Brazil, where advertising rates could be lower, resulted in the settlement of the profits “changed life”.
Among the investors are the owners who contributed to the tour Orine Zeef, Zahr Gilon, Eye, Daman and Urin Dobersky. The project company has invested in the early stage 2LVC as well.
