The huge electronic attack targeting Elon Musk on March 10 is attributed to the Dark Storm Group Hacker, which links Russia. The attack, which caused problems to reach users, was identified as a distributor of service denial (DDOS), although the platform functions were quickly restored.
The electronic attack was publicly called by Dark Storm on Telegram, which was later deleted to violate the conditions of the platform service. In a publication shared by the Cyber Security Company, the leader of the infiltrators group confirmed his participation, saying: “Anyone wondering why X decreased, was attacked by Dark Storm Team.”
The screen shots on X show the Hacker Group message, which included an offer for failed contact attempts from different global sites, claiming the responsibility of the attack. The post was removed later as the Telegram channel was deleted.
Ed Krasinstein, co -founder of NFT Marketplace Nftz.me, confirmed his own position to X that he is in contact with the Dark Storm leader. The infiltrator claimed that the attack was merely a display of power without a political agenda, and did not provide any clear reason to target the platform beyond showing their capabilities.
Dark Storm, a co -supportive group with Russia, has been active since 2023. This group is famous for launching electronic attacks against NATO countries.
Elon Musk, the owner of X, confirmed the electronic attack in an interview on March 10 with Larry Kudlo of Fox Business. Musk stated that although the details of the attack are still unclear, it seemed that the assets of the attack came from the Ukraine region. “There was a huge electronic attack to try to drop the X system, with IP addresses that originated in the Ukraine region,” Mousse explained.
Tesla facilities attacked from Elon Musk
The attack comes amid intense tensions surrounding the “government efficiency management” initiative in Musk, which reduces spending on some government programs. This controversial move was met with violent protests in Tesla facilities throughout the United States as part of the broader “Ingtal Tesla” movement.
In the aftermath of the attack and protests, former President Donald Trump moved to X to show support to Musk. He praised Misk to his efforts to defend America and criticized the opposition against him. Trump announced that he will buy completely new Tesla in solidarity, and writes, “He is working hard with his distinguished talent to help make America great again.”
