“Some people are ready for that, I was not ready for that at the time.”
Damon said that although he “will never be excluded”, running for the president will be difficult for him for other reasons as well.
“I think there are skills that people enjoy in the world of business that may translate into the political world, but I think it is wrong to think automatically that this is true,” he said, adding that he does not think he had the necessary policy of skills to make the transition.
This is in addition to the experiment, one should accumulate from the smaller political dates before celebrating the presidency, said Damon Novak.

Damon said that running for the presidency also means having to give up his job in JPMorgan, which he enjoys.
“I am proud of that – I think I am adding a lot here. I will surrender this to a kind of chase the wild goat.”
Damon’s age and his health were also factors in his decision.
“I think it’s difficult. I am 68 years old. As you know, I faced a health problem or two. So when you put it together, it was not the right thing for me, he said.
In 2014, Jpmorgan said Dimon had been diagnosed with throat cancer, although he entered remission after treatment. In 2020, Damon had another healthy intimidation – he was transferred to the hospital for emergency heart surgery.
Dimon representatives at JPMorgan did not respond to the request to comment from Business Insider.
This is not the first time that Damon has asked about his political aspirations. The 68 -year -old banker said in a meeting of investors in May that the retirement schedule was not “five years anymore”, and that a plan to name him was “on its way.”
After that, in October, Damon told the analysts in calling profits that he had no plans to join President Donald Trump’s second administration if he was offered a role.
“I think it is almost the opportunity, and I may not do it,” Dimon said.
He added: “I intend to do what I do – I almost guarantee that I will do it – for a long period of time, or at least until the painting is expelled.”
