Before entering the academic circles, I spent the first decade of puberty at work in various social services organizations for a series of non -profit companies and thought tanks. Although organizations were different in different ways, what was consistent in institutions is the organizational structure, expectations, implicit punishment, and the silence of those who failed to work within the limits of domination ideologies such as whiteness, colonialism and patriarchs. This statement was supposed to question my intentions of resignation; He made me almost ask me to doubt my reality and my decision so that I could refer to the tangible material truth: the CEO did not represent society as I promised. The intention for the effect is the result of the white. Today, in 2024, the executive director has not changed, and now supervises more than eight black and Latin employees; All children who serve them are black and Latin, and not a single community has a job within the organization. White literally benefits from the damage and marginalization of society when the white is the original and useful designer of their difficulties. This is modern colonialism. Language control is one of the basic functions of whiteness. I suffered directly from controlling the language, and extracted the skill of “best practices” while working in a national research tank. While formulating a report on the ethnic wealth gap, I was told that I could not use the term “black fight” in my writing. When I asked the reason, I was told, “The language is very strong” and “it contradicts the best communication practices.” At that time, my manager was a white woman with experience in working in the work of wealth for “women” (not the work of gender wealth) and a master’s degree in political economy. At that time, I was in my fourth year of doctoral studies, with two degrees of masters and more than fifteen years of work experience. I am also a black woman who studied critical sweat grant for a decade. I was employed to work at the national level of the center and sex in the work of wealth in the institution. As an emerging black feminist scientist, I understood that the words are important. I called for the term and requested a description of our policies and definitions of a “strong language”. I argued that there is a clear distinction between racism and anti -black racism. My manager told me at the time that I am “new” for this scene, and I advise me to listen more before I try to perform “new things”. As a black woman who completes the peripheral PhD with more than fifteen years of official higher education, I was not an expert sufficiently by managers to use the terms that I considered appropriate or led our narrative work without their consent and comfort in the language. This is just one example between how white maintains itself by spreading lies to protect its existence.
