Interview: Shaardum Cto Srinivasan Parthasaraathy speaks Mainnet, delay, and technology

The upcoming Shaardum launch follows a multiple extended development course that includes multiple Testnets, including “Liberty”, “SPHINX” and “ATOMIMM” incentive.
Before the launch of Mainnet for the platform on May 5, 2025, we talked to Srinivasan “Srini” Parthasarassy, chief technology official in Shaardum.
Parthasaraathy exchange insightful visions in the basic technology of the platform, the challenges it faces along the way, and what MainNet’s launch for the future of decentralized applications.

Technology behind Shaardum
Invezz: Can you give us a sharedum overview – the project aims to solve, and the basic technology you are working on?
Parthasaraathy Shaardum describes as “one layer, compatible with EVM, Blockchain network compatible with EVM.”
Although it may be a technical mouth, it is believed that the team has achieved something unprecedented.
He said: “We can significantly expand without any security problems and also remain completely uncomfortable.”
“We have solved a Blockchain dilemma,” CTO added.
This decentralization and the ability to expand, as he emphasized, comes without a compromise.
“It is a very exciting project for me personally … I am very happy to work with a wonderful collection of engineers and people here.”
Shaardum is running several dry operations of the launch process and expects to be fully operating on May 5.
“Technically, we were ready for more than a month now,” said Parthasaraathy.
Invezz: Shaardum conducted many Testnets. What are some of the main learning of these Testnet stages?
According to CTO, the Shaardum approach to the test was wide and transparent.
The final Testnet attracted 171,000 independent health all over the world.
“We have a very vibrant and very supportive community that has already helped us in many of our tests,” said Parthasaathy, and the shareholders are attributed to their time, effort and financial support.
He added: “We have found many security problems, and we have found the mistakes that we have identified.”
He also added that open source development was at the heart of the project.
“We are in an aquarium. Everyone can see exactly what we do – coding in public places, if it is possible to speak.”
The team merged reactions from the community and corrected the corrected errors through the rewards and reviews.
“There is more learning in this more than anything we can do internally,” Parthasaraathy added.
Dynamic expansion and expansion capacity
Invezz: Shaardum uses cutting the dynamic state. Can you explain how this works and why it matters from the point of view of expansion and decentralization?

He said that the Blockchain’s imagination as a data table, with each row representing a block and every column.
Traditional Blockchains allows only one row writing simultaneously.
“What Shaardum did is something very interesting. What we said is that instead of having one billion -row sheet, let’s divide it, for example, smaller tabs.”
This shading sharedum allows the assignment of sub -groups of data for various audit groups, which reduces storage requirements and their account to run the knot. “We want the whole world to participate in securing the network,” he said.
“Anyone must have $ 2000 to spare a knot to rotate the node and secure the network.”
Most other Blockchains works with a fixed number of pieces.
Shaardum innovation is the ability to expand the scope of the cut up and down dynamically with increased or decreased demand.
“Now this is very unique. I don’t know any other network to do it,” said CTO.
He said that the ultimate goal is to preserve the barriers that prevent entry to a decrease, especially for participants outside the Western world, and to ensure extensive decentralization.
Driving changes and other challenges
Invezz: The project witnessed some changes in leadership and delay in the launch timetable. How do you respond to concerns about driving changes and implementation risks?
Parthasaraathy acknowledged the turmoil, but stressed that such changes are part of the natural development of any high risk technology initiative.
“In Surdium, we are trying to solve a very difficult problem,” he said.
“The team had a very ambitious goal that they set for themselves … Now, a dynamic government participation is a very difficult technical problem.”
He added that the leadership and employees in the startup environment should be expected.
“The differences in the difference are a very natural result of growth in any company … it’s just the way, this is nature. This is a very difficult problem. If we are burned, if we want to do other things, this is just an actual path of things.”
What comes after that after the launch
Invezz: What are the features that will be available at the launch, and what will happen over time?
The May 5 launch is just the beginning of the gradual application.
Features such as support for smart contracts will not be available on the first day, but will be enabled within the following weeks.
Parthasaraathy said, “We are gradually releasing,” adding that other improvements related to self -time and governance are also present in the pipeline.
CTO repeat the long -term team’s view: “The goal is to make Shaardum strong and decentralized as possible.”
The main focus will also work with developers to build network applications in the coming months.
