Hong Kong Securities and Futures Committee (SFC) has greenery to exchange licensed digital assets.
On Monday, the organizer Release Organizational guidelines for new services, noting that Staking comes with possible benefits, such as enhancing the security of Blockchain protocols while enabling users to earn returns to share them.
SFC says that the entities subject to organized should take precautions to manage the risk of investors.
“They must maintain measures to prevent errors associated with services effectively, protect the amazing client virtual assets, and ensure a proper disclosure of risks that these amazing assets may be subject to.”
SFC CEO, Julia Lyong, says that allowing the exchanging encryption of the organization to provide reckless services is a step forward for the Hong Kong encryption industry.
“The expansion of the organized services and products group is very important to maintain the health progress of the virtual assets ecosystems in Hong Kong. But an organized environment must be expanded as the safety of the customer’s virtual assets is still at the forefront and in the midst of compliance to provide this service.”
Last year, Hong Kong agreed to Bitcoin (BTC) and ETHEREUM (ETH) boxes in exchange (ETFS).
In November, Hong Kong Exchangs and Clearing Limited (HKEX), the largest stock exchange in the private administrative area, announced the launch of the “apparent assets index chain”.
The index aims to provide a reliable BTC and ETH standard in the Asian time zone with a solution to price differences between different global exchanges.
