Silk Road wins 1.3 million dollars from Bitcoin through auction
Ross Olbrech, founder of the Darknet Marketplace market, collected more than $ 1.3 million from Bitcoin by selling personal and prison personal materials.
The auction, which was held across the city of Nabih, coincided with its appearance at the Bitcoin 2025 conference – his first public event since he was released from prison earlier this year after Donald Trump’s presidential pardon.

The elements offered for sale included identity cards issued by prison, clothes, paintings and handwritten notes. The prison ID brought 2024-2025 the highest offer at 5.5 BTC, while the full set of three identification cards was sold for 7.5 BTC combined, which is valued at more than $ 780,000 at the time.

Other memorials included a notebook sold for 1.06 BTC, three prison panels that brought a total of 2.41 BTC, and clothes like his shoes in prison and sweating quarries, which were sold for 0.54 and 0.51 BTC, respectively.
Ulbricht also separated with personal property by arresting him, including DJEMIBE, back bag and sleep bag. In a joint statement on the rare city auction platform, he explained that these elements are a chapter ready now to leave behind.
“I have left Arizona, the state I was in prison. He said.
Soon after the auction, the Blockchain Lookonchain analysis platform discovered a big donation of 300 BTC, at a value of approximately $ 31.4 million, sent to Ulbricht. This deal is one of the largest individual donations recorded this year.

The donation came a few days after Olbrecht’s emotional speech in Bitcoin 2025.
On the stage, he expressed his gratitude to the Bitcoin community for his support while imprisoning him.
The founder of the Silk Road also highlighted the values, which he believes should be the next stage of the development of encryption, including freedom, decentralization, and unity.
“When it comes to freedom, we are not there yet. There is still more freedom to win,” Ulbricht I mentioned.
ULBRICHT in the event indicates a renewed effort to participate in the encryption space, albeit from a different point of view.
His past is still controversial, but his message is echo with many attendees who continue to see Bitcoin as a tool for individual empowerment.
