I am now a teacher who has a political background, nearly a decade of experience in education and public welfare issues, and my Master’s degree. I think my participation in Head Start helped make these opportunities possible for me.

I prepared my first years for the rest of my life. Today, I have a deep love for education. I work as a teacher. I studied in higher education, Early childhood educationAnd K-12. She also worked as a legislative director of the New York City Council on policy issues related to education and poverty.

Although I was born in poverty, I managed to move to a middle -class life through educational opportunities. I’m forever grateful to my experiences at Head Start.

What worries me is that today’s children will not be able to reach the same opportunities that were given to me, which makes it Escape from poverty Even the most difficult.
