Hashdex seeks to add XRP and Ada to ETF encryption index

Hashdex, the director of assets in Brazil, presented a digital asset, amendment With the US Securities and Stock Exchange Committee to expand ETF Current Index with a large number of additional altcoins, including XRP and Cardano (ADA).
In order to be eligible to include them in the index, the distinctive symbols of the cryptocurrency must meet several criteria such as the presence of trading markets listed on the basic stock exchanges (Bitstamp, Coinbase, Gemini, etc.) and have free aggressive prices (this means that its value is assumed to be on any other assets).
Hashdex can take into account several other factors such as reputation and security concerns. Current currencies that do not facilitate new use and lack the encrypted economic innovation will not be part of the ETF index. The company explained that the cryptocurrency currencies may be excluded from the index.
As of March 17, Bitcoin has 88.3 % in ETF. ETHEREUM (ETH) represents the remaining 11.7 %.
The new symbols will be weighted based on free market schools.
ETF currently has a total of $ 70.43 million in net assets.
An expanded version of ETF that provides more cryptocurrencies is already available on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Last month, Hashdex got approval to launch the first XRP ETF spot in the world. This came after the company also obtained approval to launch the ETF, which provides exposure to Solana (SOL).
