Requests to ripple the deadline for the legal shortcut in the case of the appeal of the Supreme Education Council
Ripple Labs has requested a final date to submit its legal summary in the continuous interruption of the US Securities and Stock Exchange (SEC). The letter dated January 23, 2025 was written by Michael Keel, a Ripple lawyer, and was sent to Catherine Ohagan Wolf, the author of the US Court of Appeal for the Second Circuit, in an effort to obtain a final date on April 16, 2025, according to James K. Villan, former public prosecutor.

SEC by the extension request as well
It is worth noting that the Supreme Education Council had previously requested an extension to submit its appeal summary. It was scheduled to be applied on December 2, 2024, but was later paid to January 15, 2025.
In this case, Ripple was fighting with SEC and challenging the agency by claiming that the XRP code is not unregistered and that this epic has been going on for four years. This condition will be an example in the industry as is the case with the final judgment of this case, and changes will be followed with organizational guidelines.
