Free discoveries of my family have helped save money and live in a sustainable way

I was interviewing Zoom recently when my teenage daughter called me twice in a row. It is concerned that there is something wrong, I wrote on it, “In a meeting, emergency?” She replied, “No, just a good road table.” This ascended me on the brand of my family.

I grew up with the mother of Oujda, which was roaming the sales of the church for antiques and other treasures. Even my mother has recruited me to help sell her church to sell several times, as volunteers were able to shop for sale before the public (and therefore, the best elements disrupt).

Now that my children have become teenagers, they are always looking for “treasures on the side of the road”, especially after real estate sales, when framework art, plant tools, and garden tools are eliminated. We are pleased to download it on a small bus and use it in our house.

Save me getting rid of the road on the side of the road when my children were young

When my three children were young children, I equipped our backyard with slices of children’s size, a picnic table, and tension that was supposed to look like a whale-all rescued by the way.

With three children in daytime care at the same time, I was always looking for ways to save money and avoid large purchases, especially the elements that will be used only for a short period. I was satisfied with not buying new giant plastic games, just to throw them a few years later.

One of my best was the three comfortable coupe that I found over months of roaming the neighborhood I had (because you can not only get one when you have three children of a tooth). Once the three are secured, we transferred them, à la pimp, my journey, with paint, badges, allocated licensing panels and broadcasting from the dollar tree.

Kiddi’s personal cars took this step with us from Illinois to California, where my children were favorite. In the end, my children surpassed them, and all the three cars of the “Free Free” pile were dried in the front yard for use by the other neighborhood children.

I find the best elements in the days of capturing a “great element”

We are now living in the San Francisco Bay area, next to some Bouji neighborhoods, where I found the backyard furniture, an antique card table, and animal bearing cages that my children can use for their project for 4 hours.

Ski and motorbike panels are often eliminated, so we collected a good number over the years (then we donated it). I love the idea that these elements on loan are only from the universe, for use by the next child after my country.

The best is when the neighborhoods near us have the days of picking a “large element”. Potting regular garbage only includes garbage boxes that paid them for the days of the “Great Element”, you can put what you want, including furniture, mattresses, electronic waste and building materials.

On these special captured days, you can find a lot of things that should not go to emptying. My middle son needed a new bed frame, and we were able to find one on the side of the road that came even with all the devices needed to assemble it, tucked in the Ziplock bag.

Some elements, like mattresses and carpets, are banned in my mind, but you can find many great things that people no longer use.

Providing money and helping to keep things away from discharge

I am an active member in the neighborhood where I buy anything, where we publish the elements that we publish and even ask the elements that we need. I recently published a few strangeness that exceeds my children, and soon they were collected from the front balcony by the extended parents.

When my daughter expressed interest in starting guitar lessons, I was hesitant to buy a guitar, if it was a passing interest. I was published in The Buy Nothing Group and managed to capture a guitar from a neighbors later that day.

Openness to find free things instead of buying them has provided me with a large amount of money over the years, and it also helps us to drive a more sustainable lifestyle. Although I can definitely donate items with goodwill, I prefer to know that someone will actually use these elements and will not be canceled.
