Elon Musk announced that it would back down from the White House office, after spending three months in an attempt to radically reshape the federal government and its working power.
He said, “Starting next month, I will allocate more of my time to Tesla, and now that the main work has been carried out for the establishment of the Ministry of Governmental efficiency,” he said.
He said that he will continue to spend a day or two a week in government matters, “as long as this is useful,” and the president wants it.
The Musk Declaration follows the disappointing quarterly profit report at Tesla on Tuesday.
Under the unofficial Musk leadership, DOGE targeted a wide range of federal agencies, including the dismantling of the United States Agency for International Development, in an attempt to reach sensitive data systems and push in the internal revenue department and the Ministry of Treasury, and try to stop the consumer financial protection office. Musk also helped Trump the channel in the federal workforce through acquisition offers for government employees, mass extinguishing of the test workers, and reducing the size of agencies such as the National Institutes of Health.
Although it was widely targeted by federal agencies and workers, Dog did not approach the savings goals. Musk first promised to provide his comprehensive discounts for taxpayers $ 2 trillion, but later this reduced to $ 1 trillion, and again to $ 150 billion,
Dog’s savings were supported by errors and corrections, including removing $ 4 billion in the “receipt wall” in March, which led to its real estate savings by $ 150 million later in that month, and reduced savings claims by more than 9 billion dollars over two days in February.
Musk’s participation with Doge was never supposed to be a permanent-as a “private government employee”, who is not allowed to provide more than 130 days in the 365-day period.
