El Salvador works with NVIDIA to develop the infrastructure of sovereign artificial intelligence
El Salvador, the first country in the world to adopt Bitcoin as a legal tendency, works with the NVIDIA computer giant to implement artificial intelligence for national development.

As part of cooperation, El Salvador will benefit from the tools, resources and experiences of artificial intelligence in NVIDIA, allowing the development of sovereign artificial intelligence capabilities that target priorities related to culture, language, environment and economy.

Amnesty International Training for State officials and developers
Al Salvador’s recent cooperation with NVIDIA represents the country’s commitment to encouraging the use of artificial intelligence to improve multiple operations within the government and society.
Through the new Amnesty International batch, El Salvador intends to create training programs for Amnesty International for developers, researchers and government officials, “ensuring that the nation has talent to maintain its aspirations from artificial intelligence.”
One example includes the creation of AI’s paid models to predict weather and precipitation, which would support response to emergency situations, protect population in areas exposed to landslides and improve hydroelectric management.
It is not the first Amnesty International initiative for El Salvador
The NVIDIA partnership from El Salvador adds to an increasing list of initiatives that focus on artificial intelligence.
In March 2025, ONBTC announced the AI Program for Public Education at the level of Salvador University, describing it as “the only national education program that brings first -class field experts.” The program was announced with the support of Major Bitcoin Bull Cathie Wood, which is expected to give the first lecture as part of the program.
Last year, Wood expected that Bitcoin Salvador (BTCArtificial Intelligence plans may enhance the GDP ten times by 2029.

While El Salvador has strongly provided artificial intelligence initiatives, bitcoin ambitions have been deterred to some extent.
In early March, the International Monetary Fund moved to restrict more bitcoin purchases by El Salvador as part of a $ 1.4 billion financing arrangement with the country. However, the government has continued Take 1 bitcoin a day, and ask questions about the effects of the deal with the International Monetary Fund.
