The challenges are part of each successful trip, and Dr. Farady’s leadership’s journey was no exception. The first part of its journey was distinguished by various challenges such as the gap between the technical understanding of the solution of artificial intelligence and commercial decisions based on this, the issue of data quality of the resulting recommendations, and the victory of the stakeholders’ confidence. In addition, it faced obstacles such as the balance of technical depth with timely delivery and strengthening a strong data science team with the correct mixture of skills.
These issues were dangerous, and of course, they could hinder anyone, but nothing stopped Dr. Farady. Instead, in his opinion, “these challenges, despite difficult, laid the basis for my growth as a leader. They helped me develop flexibility, sharpen my vision, and understand the true value of cooperation, humility and strategic alignment in leading databases.”
By clarifying the basic characteristics of the leader, this legendary character gave the group of technical experience and strategic vision. It focuses on the importance of strong communication, continuous learning, sympathy, commercial acumen, moral governance and the ability to adapt as the necessary qualities that the leader must possess. He believes that “the commander of data science is a bridge factory-between data and decisions, between people and technology, and between today’s capabilities and tomorrow’s capabilities.”
