The official X account of Paraguay SantipeenAP was recently hacked in order to announce that Bitcoin, the largest encrypted currency, was classified as a legal tender in the country.

Paraguay has not issued any official advertisement through government channels or press brigades.
The PRESEDENCIA PARAGUAY X account later confirmed that the Pena X account has suffered a security breach.
It should also be noted that legitimate government initiatives never include a portfolio that urges people to “secure your share”.
El Salvador became the first country to restore the legal bids of Bitcoin in 2021, but it has since restored its initiative.
