David Bluffy, Advisor to the Kamala Harris campaign, joined the Coinbase Consultant Council

David Bluffy, who was working as a consultant in the campaign of former US Vice President Kamala Harris in 2024, will join the Coinbase World Consultant Council.

On Thursday’s notice, Coinbase said that Ploufee will join former legislators, industry leaders and others in the company’s advisory council, apparently to advise advice on advanced policies in the United States and abroad, as well as its role in future elections. Ploufe’s appointment to the council represents one of its first roles in encryption and politics since it left the Harris campaign.

“It is important to understand that a person carrying encryption or stablecoin, this may not be the most important issue for him,” Bluffy. He said At the Coinbase’s State of Crypto, adding:

“If you are a politician running for positions, the ability to speak to people who might be a fan of encryption who are not sure if they will participate, maybe they have not participated before. Crypto may be the entrance, but you can talk about your economic plans after that …”

The addition of Ploufef to the Coinbase Council can refer to efforts by exchange to continue to remain active in the United States. Chief Executive Brian Armstrong has distorted the Trump administration since the 2024 elections, and supported the Stablecoin Bill in Congress before the decisive vote and meeting with the individual president.

Chris Lakvita, director of the Trump Association in the 2024 elections, joined Coinbase in January. The members of the Council included many former American lawmakers, including former Senator Kirsten Cinema and the former Senator Bat Tome.
