Ukraine uses balloons to expand the scope of drones attack

Against the background of the sky of Ukraine, a drone, one emerging company provides a surprisingly low solution to a recent problem.

Aerobavovna, founded in 2023, supplies the Ukraine army with balloons filled with helium equipped with air -ranging radio marriage, which extends the scope and effectiveness of drones in the country.

Russia’s Ukraine’s struggle has been defined by the drone war, but drones have faced a number of challenges, including obstacles that could cause drone loss if radio signals and electronic warfare systems are disrupted, which can determine contacts.

This is where Aerobavovna comes.

The company is designed for the company for monitoring, communication, and the monitoring of the drone from the first person (FPV), and helping to create stable communication signals in difficult conditions in the battlefield.

Aerobavovna aerostats are equipped in the battlefield to help Ukrainian drones continue to work despite obstacles and keep COMMS at much larger distances.

You need “a kind of air radio toll that allows drones to fly near the ground.”

“For drones, this is crucial because a sign from Earth to Earth will only reach the first hill; then, you lose the direct sight line, and thus the relationship,” he said, adding that about 50 balloons were published “throughout the front line” in Ukraine.

Although Aerostats is not a new technology, Aerobavovna products have been designed to meet the requirements of the modern battlefield, which allows fast publishing times.

Aerobavovna balloons, which the company says can be deployed within five to 25 minutes, is made of lightweight polymers and can remain mobile for a period of up to seven days. The company said they could raise refined systems to a height of 1 km (about 0.6 miles) and carry a load of up to 25 kg (about 55 pounds).

The company, which says it produces about 10 to 20 balloons per month, has announced that it has developed a new Aerostat capable of carrying more advanced equipment.

In an interview with the Ukrainian port MilitarnyiThe engineers of the company said that they created a new model that could carry a load of up to 66 pounds, allowing him to carry more powerful equipment such as electronic warfare systems.

While the company has found success in providing Aerostats to the Ukrainian army, it continues to deal with technical and structural obstacles during its balance.

One of the ongoing challenges is to maintain stability and accuracy in air portable conditions, especially for the load, such as Radio FPV Drone Radio, which requires an accurate mode of the antenna.

“Stability is a big problem,” Fezovin said. “For FPV Drone Radio Radio, you really need to put the antennas, really specifically,” but the winds and turmoil make it very difficult.

Funding is also a big restriction.

Despite the strong demand and a product installed on the battlefield, the capital is rare for the startups of Ukrainian devices.

Fezovin said that the company had received investment offers in the range of $ 40 million, but it considers this much less than what is required and called this number “shame”.

“In California, you can only raise it with the stadium surface and Latte. I have a real product, and 30 engineers are building it, and it has already been published,” he said.

“We are still struggling to raise enough to expand its scope,” he added.
