US President Trump said on Monday that the sudden rise in the application of artificial intelligence in China “should highlight the warning of American technology companies” and said it is good that Chinese companies have developed cheaper and more efficient artificial intelligence models. Trump believes that the low -cost model is a “very positive development” for the manufacture of artificial intelligence as a whole.
Trump said he still expects American technology companies to dominate the field of artificial intelligence, but he confessed to the challenge represented by Dibsic, a low -cost Amnesty International Assistant who ranked first in the Apple App Store during the weekend.
“The deep artificial intelligence version by a Chinese company should be an invitation to wake up to our industry and we need to focus on competition,” Trump said.
Deepseek has become new to Silicon Valley, especially after release of two advanced models, Deepseek-V3 and Deepseek-R1, providing similar performance to Openai on a small part of the cost.
