CEO of Vfunction and co -founder on the supplement of observation tools with architectural visions

Hackernoon: What is your company with 2-5 words?

Mutty Rafalen: The pioneer of the architectural note that AI drives.

2. Why is it time for your company?

Artificial intelligence accelerates the generation of the code – but also creating architectural chaos. Without vision and control, the difference risks the fugitive complexity, the escalation of artistic religion, and issues of expansion and serious reliability.

3. What do you like in your team, and why are you the person who solves this problem?

Our primary team has worked together for more than a decade, while facing architectural challenges directly in Watchdox – which leads to a homogeneous cloud system, managing long versions, and overcoming obstacles. These stimulating experiences were for VFUNCTION. What I love most in our current team is our flat transparent culture that appreciates the character and enhances the participation of ideas from anyone at any level. This openness gives us a unique feature in solving complex architectural problems.

4. If you don’t build your startup, what will you do?

I cannot see myself not to build anything.

5. At the present time, how to measure success? What are your standards?

The hierarchy for success in starting is the first survival, then revenue, then growth. We are in the middle of this trip.

6. In a few sentences, what did you offer?

VFUNCTION provides an AI -based architectural paper that enables software and engineering leaders to understand their application structure, reduce technical debt, and complicate management. Whether it is a team that wants to update homogeneous applications, or add governance and automatic documents to a distributed structure, VFUNCTION provides vision, analysis, control and automation necessary to make these transformations.

7. What is the most exciting in your jar yet?

Customers who were unable to benefit from the cloud due to slow and expensive manual processes, finally see the light at the end of the tunnel with the help of architectural observation.

For example With VFUNCTION, TURO can depict its application structure, find technical debts and fix it continuously before it has an opportunity for root roots. I found a repetitive process to extract microscopic services and achieve the goals of expansion.

8. Where do you think your growth will be next year?

Although I do not offer predictions, I am confident of our commitment to raising high growth. We are expanding our application updating work through partnership with global system employees and cloud services providers to help Fortune 1000 companies discover architecture and move to the original cloud. Meanwhile, we enhance our support for the distributed structure, including microscopic services and hybrid environments that mix a compact and Microservices.

9. Tell us about the first client’s expectations and revenues paid over the next year.

Our way was somewhat unconventional-we spent two years building our products before signing our first customer, one of the largest banks in America, in a six-digit deal. The partnership with the main cloud service providers and the benefit of their ISV financing programs has opened new opportunities and rapid income growth – Momntum that we plan to build next year.

10. What is the biggest threat to you?

The current situation in the development of software – meaning that the industry often accepts the practices of irresponsible software, especially to stay away from the design of intended architecture, in seeking to achieve rapid versions or the next big direction. Also, software engineers and engineers still depend on the fragmented manual methods of architecture management, slowing their ability to innovate. With the possibility of architectural observation, we hope to break the base and equip the teams to build flexible and developed applications while increasing control and efficiency.
