Brazil B3 exchange ETHEREUM and Solana Futures

B3 launches Ethereum and Solana Futures, which you offer the dollar to attract international encryption investors.

B3, the largest Brazil Stock Exchange, announced ETHEREUM (ETHEMEM) and Solana futures contracts (SOL) on Monday, its portfolio of organized Cryptoassets is strengthened with the growth of demand for Blockchain financial products.

The new derivatives are an important step for B3, which gradually established an environmental system for the organization in the encryption market in the largest economy in Latin America.

Contracts will be priced in US dollars and refer to reference prices on the Nasdak and Nasdak Solana Stock Exchange.

This development is an important landmark of the Brazil’s financial system, which indicates the country’s readiness to integrate the organized cryptocurrency products into a regular exchange structure.

By providing advanced tools for institutional investors and retail, B3 put Brazil as a regional leader in financing encryption while encouraging innovation in the ecosystems of digital assets in the country.

Contract specifications and market goals

Each ETH Futures Eth is 0.25 ETHEREUM unit, while each Sol contract corresponds to 5 Solana symbols. The settlements will be held monthly, on the final Friday of each month.

Unlike Bitcoin’s future B3 contracts, which are listed in Brazilian Reais, new products aim to investors who know international markets and use tools provided by the US dollar.

While Ethereum and Solana Futures are unlikely to outperform Bitcoin contracts in terms of trading volume, B3 expects strong and varied acceptance.

Through these changes, B3 hopes to provide professional and founders traders with more freedom to design design strategies between many encryptions, such as arbitration and hedging between associated metal currencies.

Bitcoin futures are now easier

Along with ETH and Sol Futus, B3 has modified Bitcoin’s future contracts by reducing the contract size from 0.1 BTC (about $ 56,000 R) to 0.01 BTC (about $ 5600 R).

The amendment, approved by the securities organizer in Brazil, CVM, aims to expand access to the product, especially for investors on retail and small.

This step may lead to increased retail sharing in organized cryptocurrencies, which B3 believes have huge, unexploited capabilities.

The size of the reduced contract for individual investors allows to obtain bitcoin contracts without capital requirements for previous offers.

More encryption derivatives on the horizon

In the future, B3 mentioned that the expansion of encryption derivatives will not stop with Ethereum and Solana. According to Felipe Gonçalves, the head of the products at The Exchange, the other prominent Altcoins contracts for 2026 are already seen.

“We are already evaluating what we can launch beyond Ethereum and Solana, perhaps next year – perhaps the 5 best or 10 best is the most important encryption in the world,” Gonçalves told me.

Among the potential candidates for future contracts XRP, BNB and Dogecoin, three of the most liquid cryptocurrencies are usually owned in the world.

Increase institutional interests and innovation

B3 efforts are strengthened by larger trends in cryptocurrencies in Brazil. The Stock Exchange currently lists 19 investment funds traded in the encrypted currency, and trading volumes for bitcoin derivatives increased.

According to B3, these scales indicate an increase in the demand for regulatory and innovative encryption assets from both investors from retail and institutions.

With more assets available, merchants can develop increasingly complex strategies that include long and short bets across many cryptocurrencies, extending to the market entitlement.

However, Gonçalves highlighted that the increase will be fixed and responsible. “Everything depends on liquidity and the acceptance of the market,” he said.

By targeting a larger base for investors and adopting international pricing standards, B3 places itself at the forefront of regulating encryption financing in emerging countries.
