Ripple CTO finally deals with the mystery of the missing professor’s book from XRP

It seems that some discussions never settle. Lost XRP travels? It is one of those topics that maintain the surface, which raises the final arguments between bitcoin supporters and XRP supporters. Main occupation: the first 32,569 books, gold. No record. Some say this raises questions about XRP credibility, especially given the pre -offer and pushing Ripple to XRP position as an American reserve origin.
Ripple’s CTO David Schwartz I recently interfered to set the record straight. He explained that all the previous accounts are reflected in LEDGER 32,570, which is the closest one is still available.
So, functional? Nothing is missing. However, the missing history feeds speculation.
A little of the background. In the first days of the XRP book, there was an accident. The professor’s book disappeared. No backup, no healing – just gold. But because of how XRP works, nothing was broken.
Unlike Bitcoin, which requires the date of complete treatment, the UTXOS output (UTXOS), XRP (and ethereum, to some extent) stores a summary version of its condition in each new professor’s book. There is no need to return and gather things together.
Some say this is not just a technical. The missing professor’s book adds to concerns about transparency and the distribution of XRP.
Bitcoin supporters argue that Bitcoin’s full historical record gives it an advantage. In response, the CTO’s Ripple indicated that at the time, they did not even believe that the Professor’s notebook will become the “Professor’s Book Watch”. If they started again, he would have lost more history. Therefore, there was no real reason for pressing the re -adjust button.
XRP works on an equal network. The auditors communicate through the gossip protocol, and the transfer of messages without the need for direct contacts. This system is still working. Therefore, in practice, among the missing people’s early books? Nothing changes.
But perception is a different story.
