At & T click on the DePin Helium network to enhance the WiFi network coverage for customers

AT & T is the first transition to decentralized physical infrastructure (DePin) in partnership with helium, by allowing its customers to benefit from a network of hot points that work in the service that the user works with

The AT & T partnership allows the use of the hot points of the Hillium through the integration of the traffic point, and the WiFi authentication protocol that enables the devices to communicate automatically and safely, without the need to log in manual, when it is within the scope of a share hot point.

The devices within the domain of a hot point will be transmitted automatically to the network, enhancing the user’s connection in areas with a limited mobile signal power.

For AT & T, integration provides an opportunity to expand the range of service using an existing decentralized network, without the need for an additional material infrastructure.

Helium, in turn, acquires a greater benefit to its network and increased visibility among the main users.

Among the other privileges, AT & T will also access the network quality scales in the actual time of Hillium, which would allow them to provide an insight into a decentralized performance.

Such a level of transparency is usually absent in traditional infrastructure models.

AT & T long has shown an appetite for emerging technology. It was one of the first communications giants that allow users to pay bills using Crypto, and it is explored by Blockchain -backed tools for everything from institution supply chains to track digital data.

The company provided patents for a Blockchain system to set social media activity to users, before the decentralized infrastructure became the word tonna.

Past partnerships

While the partnership is a major milestone in terms of adoption of DePin, this is not the first brush for Hillium with the world of communications.

One of its most prominent partnerships so far was with Telefónica’s Movistar in Mexico, where Hilium Mobile merged its decentralized network to support communication for more than 2.3 million subscribers in areas such as Mexico City and Oakaka.

Besides partnerships and care, Helium was steadily built in the technology group to support the wider adoption.

In mid -2013, the company provided a network of operating networking for device manufacturers, creating a more open environmental system to expand the coverage range through third -party devices.

Helium Mobile’s Zero Plan plan was launched in February 2025, other major steps for the DePin project.

The plan provides 3 GB of data, 300 text messages, and 100 minutes from the time of talking each month without any cost by taking advantage of the decentralized network of Hilium with the T-Mobile service at the country level for wider coverage.
