The British pound (GBP) is sharply against the US dollar (USD) to its highest level in three years on Friday. The pair has been widely traded on the front foot over the past five days, with GBP/USD cut over 1.3500 for trading around 1.3538, increasing approximately 0.80 % at the time of writing this report during the American session.
