American Bitcoin’s ambition is mining control – HUT 8 CEO
Earlier this week, Bitco Mining Giant Hut 8 has unveiled a partnership that includes two members of the Trump family – Donald Junior and Eric – and its plans to launch a new mining project, American Bitcoin.
In an exclusive interview on No central with cointelegraphs Asher Genot, CEO of HUT 8, CEO of HUT 8, shared new details about the project vision, and why the timing was true and how the company plans to expand its scope.
“We have thought about dividing mining companies and energy infrastructure for Bitcoin for some time,” said Genot. “Interview Eric and Don Junior, and seeing their deep passion for bitcoin and infrastructure, was the perfect catalyst.” According to Genot, the goal is clear: building one of the largest and most efficient Bitcoin mining platforms in the world, rooted in American territory and is in line with the feelings of pro -cabinet that grows under President Donald Trump’s management. He said, “Eric told me,” I don’t want to participate in anything that is not the largest and the best. “ This step comes in a central mining moment in the United States. As China exits the image after 2012, Washington is now exploring the idea of a strategic bitcoin reserve, the place of America in the global mining ecosystem is subject to transformation. However, the size is not everything. Genot emphasized that efficiency and cost effectiveness are essential in the strategy. “We don’t want to be just the largest. We want to be more efficient and effective. If our cost is not low, we may also buy bitcoin.” Related to: Bitco Miner Hut 8 argues that he throws a “short and distorted” shareholder suit The Bitco America’s BTC mining allows a low cost, more accumulating when the market allows, and may expand in other bitcoin services.
