A former American lawyer said he was vacated after he publicly criticized the Trump administration’s DEI policies.
He will not go quietly.
Alex Kristophak, 44, who was until recently, was put a federal lawyer focusing on civil suits in the southern province of New York, on an administrative vacation after the “critical social media position”.
He told Business Insider from his position completely, although he is planning to continue working in the legal industry.
In the LinkedIn publication two weeks ago, Christophakk criticized an American lawyer in Washington, DC, who sent a message to the Dean of Law College in Georgetown to impose Dei’s fighting policies at the university. Christophak described the message as “an ugly abuse of power” at the time.
The next day, it was placed on an administrative leave.
“I was told in any unconfirmed conditions that my criticisms paid this procedure,” Christophak said in a new post in LinkedIn on Saturday.
The US Prosecutor’s Office for the Southern Region in New York can not be accessed by phone on Sunday evening. The White House and the Ministry of Justice did not immediately respond to suspension requests from Business Insider.

Since assuming his post, the Trump administration has made comprehensive changes to the federal government, targeting everything from public education to veteran affairs.
Many of the president’s executive orders have been banned or delayed by judges amid continuous lawsuits, including the challenge of ending Dei programs.
“I was already planning to leave the Ministry of Justice at the end of the month. I concluded that the hostile environment established by President Trump, Elon Musk, and those who appoint politicians in the Ministry of Justice have made my position,” said Christophakk in LinkedInin.
He told Bi that the politicization of the administration and the “treatment of other job employees” led him to leave his position.
“While we are talking, there are a lot of conversations that happen as people try to know where they want to land on a set of responses,” said Christophak. “In the next two days, implicitly, everyone will take a position or another, or will remain silent. This in itself will talk about volumes.”
There was a migration from senior employees of the American District Court of the Southern Region in New York. In February, many senior prosecutors resigned after refusing to adhere to the request of the Ministry of Justice to Disclosure of federal corruption charges against the mayor of New York City Eric Adams.
In LinkedIn, Christophak urged those in power sites to speak.
“I grew up as I watched a comprehensive system, and I have given way to democracy. Now, I find myself witnessing the similarities in my accredited country,” said Christophak. “Speaking out may have cost me my position, but silence would have cost me much more.”
He told Bi that those in the industry during the next few days will be decisive.
“Unfortunately, I really think this is one of those things that everyone stands together or collects everyone,” he said.
