Aesthetic decoration is “I have children”; I do not apologize for that
- I do not try to hide the fact that we have children, so our house is full of play and art.
- We put priority for access and creativity on organized and matching decor – even in our living room.
- Entertainment requires more preparatory work and the highest level of arrangement I do for my guests.
Some may say that our house is disorganized – and I agreed with them on certain days. Once we have a contractor in our house, ask if we are running day care. My children were playing in the living room. We had a giant plastic roller ship, and I was not trying to hide the fact that we had children. A pile cleaning voltage of Lincoln’s records that will only appear on the ground was not again and repeatedly worthy of it.
We have merged children’s books and played in our living space since the birth of our older child, and now that 3 and 5, chaos remains. Now it is just a mixture of Legos and playing food instead of stacking cups and playing mats. Aesthetic can be easily described as “in children”. I do not regret living this way, after all, my children always do in their fingertips.
We embrace fun and vitality
Sometimes I feel jealous of families who have games that perfectly match their furniture or who only raise a small game box of color games, but I know this is not ours. We chose to embrace fun and vitality that comes with stuffed games and animals. In our house, there is always a variety of activities, books and games in the living room and crafts that occur at the kitchen table.
I have seen families having separate gaming rooms, but games always end from scattered and mixed, and someone should clean them at the end of the day. We simply keep everything in our common space, so we have easy access to it and for the other.
Our Bound house has been created in our dining room. My husband sometimes works from the house, outside his desk at the basement, and makes having a house bounce at the main level on hand even if it works. Not, since they use them frequently, I do not routinely raise them in the storage bag, unless we rotate games or guests.
When children help clean, this will not be completely visual. Families with organized games financially? Let’s be honest, perhaps an adult person took them, and I am not using all my spare time in a sterile attempt to make my home look free of children.
Having a bounce house on the first floor of our house, instead of the basement, means that my husband can work from the house without interruption.

I do not think that high -end children’s regulations are worth the cost
Certainly it looks beautifully sponsored when someone has matching baskets or playing furniture that coordinates with his own decor. But I don’t buy an expensive storage capacity for our home. I wanted a cute storage tower for the small space next to our playing kitchen, but at $ 80, I passed. Instead, we use the fabric storage box to store food and accessories. I prefer doing a couple trips to children playing a gym or going to an enjoyable event instead of buying the most expensive storage tower.
Helps children decorate our home
Our children drew ceramics, the people of the hunter, decorations, and more, and found houses on our walls. We also encourage them to help us decorate holidays. For a memorial day, my son was pleased to install him randomly in our promoter. On Christmas, we have small trees in every children’s room, and jewelry is inevitable (but with love) throughout the branches. Sometimes the floor “adorns” by leaking flour when we bake and play “skiing”.
By embracing chaos and chaos, I encourage their creativity and give them space to explore the world around them.
Entertainment involves more preparatory work
We still enjoy, but this is definitely more thinking, and I am the cheap level of cleaning we do for this event. I arrange more before parties or friends who have unlimited homes; I will clean less for the date of play (unless it includes an additional for children). We enjoy the same amount as it was by children, but the preparatory work is more. I tend to remove the things we stay on daily, such as the Splat mat (waterproof mats, washing canable-it is much easier than the treatment of carpet stains) and the panny maker (for almost a daily quesadillas), but the plastic pirate is still the table, the game box, the kitchen , And similar elements remain part of our decor.
Our living room is filled with games and activities for children, which all keep us together as a family.

We embrace the stage in which we are
My children will only be once; I will have time as soon as they are older to get a more coordinated aesthetic and less chaos. Sometimes, a friend of helping to wipe the paint from our kitchen table may have before the game night, but put my feet in my children’s shoes even for a moment, delighted. Feeling of stirring up the fourth with balloons or throwing every stuffed animal that it owns in our high house is invaluable. I see creativity and joy – children’s work.
