In a tweet from RippleXIt has been announced that XRP Community Day will begin with Ripple’s CEO taking the stage. Garlinghouse is expected to open the event with reflections on XRP’s most significant achievements, providing a retrospective look at the journey so far.
Garlinghouse’s address will also cover the state of the cryptocurrency industry, providing insight into the current state of the cryptocurrency sector.

XRP is seeing impressive growth in the fourth quarter
According to the latest report issued by My pathThe market cap of XRP rose 246% in the fourth quarter, surpassing the combined market cap of BTC, ETH, and SOL, which increased by 44%. The price of XRP is up 241% QoQ, with the difference between market cap and price being attributed to a 1.6% increase in circulating supply.
All network metrics measured increased in Q4. New addresses increased 382% QoQ to 507,000, indicating new users on board. Furthermore, total active addresses increased by 99% to 56,000, indicating an increase in the number of new and existing users. Year over year, quarterly new titles increased by 115%.
The average daily CLOB volume of issued exchangeable tokens increased by 1,140% (12x) to $7.9 million, while the average daily number of CLOB trades decreased by 4% to 700,000. Average daily CLOB traders jumped 300% last quarter to 9,300 while average daily AMM volume rose 3,100% (32x), indicating massive growth in usage.
