SEC launches the electronic unit for the protection of the retail exploration investors
The US Securities and Stock Exchange Committee (SEC) formed a new enforcement body, the Electronic and Emergian Technologies Unit (CETU) to combat the behavior associated behavior online and protect retail investors from fraudulent activities in the encrypted currency sector.
Laura Dulared, which replaces previous encryption assets and electronic unit, will lead to about 30 fraud professionals and lawyers stationed through many SEC offices. The unit will work with the encryption squad, headed by Commissioner Hester Peres, to ensure the safety of the market.

CETU employees consist of the best talents from Fintech and Cyber Fields, which will help the unit to investigate and trial fraud in many high -risk areas, including:
- Artificial intelligence and automatic learning fraud: misuse of artificial intelligence and automation of deceptive investment plans.
- Social media and dark web fraud: fraud operations are performed via social media, illegal markets via the Internet or fake web sites.
- Fraud in encryption and blocks: distorting and misconduct that involves digital assets and Blockchain technology.
- Piracy and trading from within: electronic attacks aimed at accessing non -general information for illegal trade.
