Researchers at the Human Resources and Financial Consulting Company Merir More than 200 daily expenses, including housing, food, health care and entertainment, were analyzed in 226 cities around the world to determine the most expensive and lowest sites. Mercer also created safety, infrastructure, environmental friendliness and communication to identify eight cities in Europe, Asia and the Americas that provide a balance between low costs of living and high standards of living.
