5 Podcasts for silly children and studied fathers (especially those in technology)

Parents and motherhood in the digital age is wild. Everyone, everything apparently fights for your attention. The child cries while examining the urgent recession (other)? to examine. A small child who is sick at home in the middle of a weekly position? to examine. Emergency fires to put them at work in the middle of the nightlife reviews with the class teacher? to examine.

It is understood, and therefore, that many parents have turned into a crutch technology – on tablets at dinner, scrolling while overseeing the time of bathing, and responding to emails during sleep stories. Rest becomes alive. But with the passage of time, we trade the real calling of digital noise.

Jonathan Hydet said that it is better in his book Tktuni, the anxiety generation: “We were shocked by our children in the real world and protect them in the virtual world.”

The thing is that technology will not disappear any time soon. Parents will not only use technology to work and provide family, but also understand it enough to interact with their children who will ultimately grow it as well.

Good news? Technology should not be the enemy. When using it intentionally, families can actually come close – whether laughing is a long campaign, which raises conversations that do not start “putting your shoes”, or learning something new together.

This is where the podcast comes. They have become one of my favorite paternity and maternity tools: free of the screen, rich in story, and often the appropriate length of the weekend or the weekend without plans or a moment of peace.

Below 5 podcasts have gained a place in our family’s rotation – the factors that entertain children, the parents of parents, and sometimes do both at the same time. Adhere to a personal recommendation 😉

🎧 For parents

Parents and motherhood are Haaaaaard. These are Podcasts that teach our ways to paternity and motherhood like parents of three children. Practical advice, insightful convoy with experts, and a safe space for parents to listen to it and do not feel lonely.

1. Good interior with Dr. Becky

Dr. Becky Kennedy is basically my mother/favorite online processor. No exaggeration – her approach to paternity and motherhood taught me how to be a human being more than paternity and motherhood. Favorite episode: Why do not children listen?

2. The genius podcast is lazy

Kendra Adachi wants you to be “genius about things that are of interest and lazy about things that do not do it.” Yes, please. Its advice in time, practical and full a lot beauty. Although it is not a paternity podcast and motherhood, it helped me rethink how to plan it, spend my time, and showed as a father (and man). Favorite episode: How to parents when your child is annoying

🎧 For children

Sometimes you just need a break – as well as your children. These are our offers when I need 20 minutes of peace, and they need something free from the screen that still feels fun. Ideal for calm time, car riding, or reset after a long day.

3. The circle is a tour

The Circle Round hosted by Rebecca Shear, which is the popularity of popularity from all over the world, which I told it with a great narration, and original music (sometimes by Boston Filharmonik!), Celebrity Cameos, and Real Heart. Favorite episode: biscuit, basket

A

4. But why: podcast for curious children

Children send real questions – such as “Why does giraffes contain long necks?” Or “Do you marry animals?” – Experts answer in fun and clear ways and never give up. Favorite episode: Who invented the emoji, and what does it mean?

🎧 both of them together

Finally, there is a personal favorite (thanks for wrapping to the end) ❤ We noticed a gap in the world of podcasts for one of the parents and children for consumption!

5. Nora and Mama Time – Mẹ Và Con Tâm Sự

It was launched on the first of June this year, which is a podcast. I participated with my 8 -year -old daughter Nora!

We wanted something that mixes the best in Parksing Podcast (advice, reflection) with podcast for children (joy, curiosity). So we made our area. A real separation between my mother and her child-on books, siblings, school, food and all the big things in life.

Favorite episode (June 15): From dyslexia to a dog man: within the wonderful universe of Daf Baker’s books

Whether you are wearing paternity and motherhood in the margins between meetings or building bedtime procedures that do not completely collapse, this podcast helped us feel more contact – for our children, ourselves, and each other.

Have you got your family podcast you love? Driving it in the comments – we always add the waiting menu.
