184,000,000 user name and passwords exposed in unusual data breach – Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, Google, Netflix, Instagram, Spotify, Discord, Roblox and PayPal affected: Report
Veteran cybersecurity researcher says that he discovered a secret database containing entry login data for more than 184 million accounts through many platforms.

Fowler says that the judgment on the size and scope of the database may be a kind of assembly, either reserved by researchers looking for data breach or any other criminal activity, or perhaps directly by data thieves themselves who have obtained accreditation data using malware.
“Knowledge of login and passwords for millions of accounts is a dream that is realized for cyber criminals – they may have a long list of how to use accreditation data and email messages.”
Fowler says a small sample of the records that he analyzed contains 479 Facebook, 475 Google, 240 Instagram account, 227 Roblox account, 209 Discord account and more than 100 Microsoft, Netflix and PayPal accounts.
The sample also included Amazon, Apple, Nintendo, Snapchat, Spotify, X, WordPress, Yahoo, and many other login recordings, reports Wireless.
With the scope of the information that was exposed, Fowler says the victims are now vulnerable to several types of attacks, including companies spying, hunting, social engineering, account preparations, and more.

The fine assets of the database are unknown, but Fowler notes that the password field was described as “Senha”, which is a “password” in Portuguese.
Fowler says he believes it is “very possible” to be blamed on the Internet criminal, describing it as the only reasonable interpretation of the huge group of login data.
